###Static page templates
Create a new php page in the root folder (ie: where index.php is). For example: "shipping.php".
Create a new template file inside the folder "views/static/" with (important!) the file extension ".html.twig". For example: views/static/shipping.html.twig. Copy the contents of views/static/basetemplate.html.twig into this file.

Edit the contents of php page to be:
<?php
  require_once('include/globals_def.php');
  echo $_template->renderTemplate('./static/{YOUR_NEW_STATIC_TEMPLATE}.html.twig');
?>
In this example, we named our static template "shipping", so change:
echo $_template->renderTemplate('./static/{YOUR_NEW_STATIC_TEMPLATE}.html.twig');
to:
echo $_template->renderTemplate('./static/shipping.html.twig');

Last step: edit the blocks in your template file with your static page contents. The title block sets the title of the page. the "meta_desc" block lets you set a custom meta description tag. The "main_content" block is where most of your content will go. Paste your HTML code here and it will be insereted into the main content "box" on the page (ie. where the item, category, cart content is). All of the blocks the template file should be written as just plain HTML.
